Being Safe: A little healthy paranoia goes a long ways. Prevent pain.
Heading

at a glance (because i havent finished this page)

* Quickly say no to anything you aren't sure is legal and completely safe.
* Keep your private information completely safe. Your wallet, purse, backpack, car, home, etc. Be aware of the situation. Be paranoid to an extent.
* Be sanitary at all times, especially when around strangers, because many germs CAN harm people.
* Plan escape routs if you are out of your comfort zone. Bring along a buddy or group. Take a cell phone with safe numbers programmed in, and use 911!
* Pray for a safe journey!
* Don't ever do anything dangerious or illegal.
* If you're a kid, keep your parents informed about where you are and who you're with. Keep them in the loop, because they know things you don't, and they are responsible for you. Make sure to get through to them, that you have a cause to support and you need their encouragement.
* Be healthy, that's pretty obvious.
* Propper saftey gear acording to your task.
* Don't go out at night. Don't go to dangerious regions. Do plan and take things one step at a time.
* Consult with good people. Friends aren't always ideal for making big decisions, so go to mature people who are.
* Wait on the Lord. Don't do crazy things on whim. Take it easy and know that God has it all under control.
* Check scripture. BibleGateway has a Bible search engine, in any translation. Here at the top of the page: http://www.biblegateway.com/
* Self check. Make sure you're stable and functional before going out. Stay sober and away from drugs!
* Know that you can't always change someone, they must do that on their own, but you can offer a helping hand and lead them to the right resources where they can heal.
Saftey First! Don't give out information unless you made the phone call. Be highly paranoid about sharing the following over the phone or net:
* Your Last name.
* Your real life friends last names.
* Your parents last names.
* Your passwords.
* Your town name.
* Your school name.
* Your address.
* Your phone number.
* Links to places people could find out more about you.
* Your real email address (use a junk mail address).
* ssn
* cc
* You should be using a secondary FREE email address when completing forms. If a suspicious form asks for a phone number, try to use a service like Grandcentral or PrivatePhone.
* If you suspect a freebie of being spam, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT IN THE FORUMS! Your comments will benefit other visitors and help ensure the success of the community.
* Things that appear to be too good to be true, are usually so. Only apply for freebies that you intend to use.
* Users posting Free Ipod offers, Yes-Its-Free deals, etc in ANY other category but the Sweepstakes, Contests, Free iPod Deals, Spam, MLM etc.. should be banned from the internet.
