Tips about Google and Searching:
* Google is not case sensitive unless using a complex formula.
* Use perfect placement of symbols and spaces. Google is a machine and doesnt get what you mean, unless youre specific.
* Create your own google start page at http://www.google.com/ig
* Google corrects some of your spelling mistakes on simple searches.
* There is an Advanced Search area: http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en
* Google only returns pages that include all of your search terms. There is no need to include "and" between terms. Keep in mind that the order in which the terms are typed will affect the search results. To restrict a search further, just include more terms. For example, to plan a vacation to Hawaii, simply type vacation hawaii.
* Google ignores common words and characters such as "where" and "how", as well as certain single digits and single letters. So Starwars I, would only be searched as starwars. If a common word is essential to getting the results you want, you can include it by putting a "+" sign in front of it. Starwars +I. Make sure to use a space before the plus sign. Alternativly, using "quotation marks" will search exactly what you type, leaving nothing out. "starwars i" with quotes, will not leave out the I.
* Use google toolbar to block dangerious popups. Also use Internet Explorer 7 or the latest Firefox to maximise your internet productivity.

Free Google software for your computer! Get it at: http://pack.google.com/
* StarOffice (made free to you by google)
* Google Desktop (search your computer lightning fast)
* Google Earth (3d earth with loads of info!)
* Google Gmail Notifier (alerts you about emails)
* Picasa (for photo organizing)
* SketchUp 3D (make easy 3d objects)
* For CellPhones: SMS Chat, Maps, Search, SMS Google Search
* Google searches for variations of your search terms. It calls this Stemming. Example, Lizard Dietary would also search for Lizard Diet.
